EVV Satyanarayana first ventured as a director with Telugu film Chevilo Puvvu in 1990 and later got more than fifteen films to his credit. The film Premakaidi was maiden big super hit in his career. Few of his much acclaimed movies are Hello Brother, Intlo Illalu Vantitlo Priyuralu, Abbaiyigaru, and Maa Nanaku Pelli. He also done his debut in Hindi with Amitabh Bachchan-Soundarya starrer Suryavansh.
Satyanarayana became producer with the film Chala Bagundi in 2001. He launched his elder son Aryan Rajesh to movies with Hai, but could not get their anticipated success from it. Later, he introduced his second son and actor Allari Naresh with whom he done hits such as Kithakithalu and Bendu Apparao. Movie Kathi Kantharao, which is his 3rd film with Naresh, was Satyanarayana’s last Telugu cinema.
However, the sudden death of EVV Satyanarayana has surpised thousands of his fans and friends. With EVV’s death, a vacuum has been made in the Telugu film industry which cannot be filled. Several noted Tollywood actors and producers have expressed condolence at his sad demise.
